About the team WaterAid Rwanda (WARw) works through supporting local organizations and government to plan and implement inclusive and sustainable services of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). WARw also seeks to influence the policy change through government and other key WASH stakeholders to secure and protect the right of poor people to safe, affordable water and sanitation services. Occupying the position of Business development in WaterAid is an exciting opportunity to work with WaterAid and contribute to the achievement of the national and global goals towards realizing the WASH access for everyone everywhere. About the role As our Human Resources Intern, you will provide administrative and operational support to the People Department while gaining practical experience in human resource management. The role contributes to the efficient delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, employee engagement, records management, and HR administration and work closely with all Country Programme staffto drive sustainable change. In this role, you will: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, both electronic and physical. Assist in updating HR databases and personnel records. Support the coordination of recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and preparing interview documentation. Assist in posting job vacancies and maintaining recruitment records. Support the organization and coordination of staff training sessions and workshops. Support the planning and coordination of staff engagement activities Requirements To be successful, you will need: Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field. Basic understanding of Human Resource Management principles. Familiarity with Rwanda Labor Law is an added advantage. Although not essential, we'd prefer you to have: Previous internship or volunteer experience is an added advantage. Strong organizational and administrative skills.
