Job Description

Purpose of the job: To execute full- and on-time daily targets in the Production department and the bulk plan. To ensure the integrity of the product is never compromised.

Responsibilities

  • To maintain a high-quality standard in the Department
  • Will perform various assigned manual labor tasks to: grasp, lift, move, place and stack
  • Puts pans on the conveyor accordingly
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards at all times
  • Adhere to all Company rules and procedures
  • Ensure optimal Efficiencies
  • Planned maintenance of assigned assets
  • Administration and record control
  • SOP's, hygiene and housekeeping
  • Food Safety Health & Safety

Qualification Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience Requirements

  • Related production experience advantageous
  • Logical thinker

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to work in a team
  • Be able and available to work shifts
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Problem solving ability
  • Continuous Improvement

Working Conditions

  • Pressurised environment
  • 6-day position
  • Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays as per shift roster
  • May be required to work on a rotating 12-hour shift which includes night shift
