Job Description
Purpose of the job: To execute full- and on-time daily targets in the Production department and the bulk plan. To ensure the integrity of the product is never compromised.
Responsibilities
- To maintain a high-quality standard in the Department
- Will perform various assigned manual labor tasks to: grasp, lift, move, place and stack
- Puts pans on the conveyor accordingly
- Maintain high housekeeping standards at all times
- Adhere to all Company rules and procedures
- Ensure optimal Efficiencies
- Planned maintenance of assigned assets
- Administration and record control
- SOP's, hygiene and housekeeping
- Food Safety Health & Safety
Qualification Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- Related production experience advantageous
- Logical thinker
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work in a team
- Be able and available to work shifts
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Must be self-motivated
- Problem solving ability
- Continuous Improvement
Working Conditions
- Pressurised environment
- 6-day position
- Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays as per shift roster
- May be required to work on a rotating 12-hour shift which includes night shift
