Job Description

Zengamina Power Limited (ZPL), part of the Anzana Electric Group, is a vertically integrated private rural electric utility operating in Ikelenge District, North-Western Province of Zambia. Since 2007, ZPL has operated as a mini-grid providing reliable electricity to households, government institutions and businesses through a network powered by a 700kW run-of-river hydropower plant and approximately 70 km of 33 kV sub-transmission lines and 87 km of medium-voltage distribution lines. ZPL is currently at an advanced stage of expanding its generation capacity through the integration of an additional hydropower unit, comprising a second turbine of approximately 700 kW, alongside the development of a solar PV plant with an installed capacity of 1.2 MWac. This hybrid configuration will increase the total installed capacity of the facility to approximately 2.6 MW, aimed at meeting the growing electricity demand within Ikelenge District.
