Scope of Cover

Basically on average some of the covered perils forwarded include:

• Fire and lightning;
• Accidental damage like defective workmanship and material, lack of skill, negligence, malicious act or human error.
• Collapse, collision and an impact.
• Subsidence, landslide, rockslide.

Exclusions

Some of the basic exclusions include:

• loss or damage as a direct consequence of the continual influence of operation like wear and tear, corrosion, rust, deterioration due to lack of use and normal atmospheric conditions;
• loss or damage occurring whilst any insured item is undergoing a test of any kind or is being used in any manner or for any purpose other than that for which it was designed;
• loss of or damage to plant and/or machinery working underground unless otherwise agreed by endorsement;
