BIOMED TECHNICIAN

Job Description

Maintain and repair hospital medical equipment, install new medical devices and ensure they function properly, carry out regular preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns, support medical staff with training on equipment use, monitor equipment movement and keep accurate records, manage stock of spare parts and consumables, ensure oxygen supply systems are properly maintained. In simple terms, you are responsible for keeping critical medical equipment working at all times. Technicians with experience in biomedical or electrical systems, candidates who have worked in hospitals or technical environments, people who can work independently and solve problems quickly are best suited for this role.
